Toolkit Installator

Description

A selection of useful macros from www.winedt.org enriched by JErik's modifications and macros. The Toolkit Installator installs the macros without any need of manual adjustment. Simply choose the components and follow the instructions.

The package contains the following components:

Required plug-ins and macros:

Installation

Before running the Toolkit Installator, it is recommended to create a backup of your current configuration (to avoid any possible problems). You can do this through Options | Maintenance | Backup...

To install the package, unzip the downloaded file Installator_v1.3.zip into an arbitrary directory. Execute the installation macro install.edt with Macros | Execute Macro Script... or press the keystroke Ctrl+F9.

Update components

For the latest version of Toolkit Installator you can check its home page.

From version 1.3 on, you have the possibility to update installed components. Like for the installation, unzip the file Installator_v1.3.zip into an arbitrary directory and execute the installation macro install.edt with Macros | Execute Macro Script... or press the keystroke Ctrl+F9. Then choose the action "Update installed components".

Uninstallation

If you decide to remove the Toolkit Installator, you must first realize that all changes made in WinEdt's settings, starting from the date of the Installator's installation, will be lost after the restoration process. This means that if you have made any changes to the WinEdt configuration after the Toolkit Installator's installation, they will also be lost. This is one unpleasant feature of the restoration process. Therefore carefully decide what you want to do.

If you have decided to remove the Toolkit Installator from WinEdt, unzip the file Installator_v1.3.zip into an arbitrary directory. Execute the installation macro install.edt with Macros | Execute Macro Script... or press the keystroke Ctrl+F9. Then choose the action "Restore all".
